BEHIND THE SCENES TOURS

Join a one-of-a-kind behind the scenes guided tour of the Henry River Mill Village. The 45 minute tour will take you back in time as you explore the 3 levels of the abandoned brick Company Store, inside several of the the unique Mill Houses and stroll through the beautiful landscape of the 72-acre Henry River Mill Village.

The Sigmon Stringers are a three-generation bluegrass band from Newton, NC that has been performing since the early 70’s.  The band was begun by Clinton Sigmon and his two sons, Randy and Mark along with Ray Barger.

The band has performed at Merlefest, the Rex Theatre in Galax,  Blue Ridge Music Center on the Parkway, WKBC’s Hometown Opry in North Wilkesboro, Hart’s Square Festival (Hickory), Galax Leaf and String Festival, the Concerts on the Lawn Series in Boone, Bele Chere in Asheville, Red, White and Bluegrass Festival and the NC State Fair to name a few.   

The kids along with Mark, Randy, Clinton Sigmon and Ray Barger are fun to watch and make great listening.  The kids fast flying fingers will amaze and delight any age audience.
